On May 10th, 2025, the Kajiado Talent Awards lit up the stage with vibrant performances and inspiring moments, honoring outstanding local talents across music, art, fashion, and innovation. This unforgettable event celebrated the power of creativity, culture, and youth empowerment in Kajiado County.
KAJIADO GALA AWARDS 2025(2nd Edition)
They say a man's gift makes room for him and brings him before great men. The Kajiado Gala Awards has proven this by highlighting the remarkable achievements of individuals, especially the youths in Kajiado county, celebrating diverse talents. The event's aim was to inspire and support different talents across various fields, with this year's theme focusing on unlocking potentials.
To beautify the event, different categories were prepared and potential guests with different abilities were invited which included; Deputy governor Kajiado county Mr Martin Moshisho, senator aspirant Kajiado county Dr Daniel Kanchori, gospel artist Boss MOG and not forgetting our very own legendary Dj Mike Wandaka among others.
The organizers of the event reiterated that this year's theme was met thus noting a great positive impact towards their motion which was to support young talents from grassroots.
On the other hand HON. deputy governor Moshisho congratulated everyone saying that it was a great move for Kajiado county and that he is into any event meant to empower the youths. He also urged the youths to now take part In matters that will help encourage the other youths like involving themselves in politics and promising to nominate a youth as running mate come 2027.
In addition, an aspirant senator Dr. Daniel Kanchori a lawyer working with the attorney general and who was among the special guests for the day, encouraged the youths that it's high time for them to show up to such events, showcasing their talents and leaving a notable achievements which will help boost their resume.
Despite the heavy rains experience, the event was a success and different awards given to different segments including: the designer of the year, the artist of the year, producer of the year, legendary Dj of the year and not forgetting Mr and Mrs Kajiado who were crowned the owners of Kajiado in unlocking potentials and beauty. As the saying goes; All's well that ends well.
Kajiado Gala Awards 2025 was a success and a day that no one would ever forget.
